The main problem is dust which settles on surrounding properties and land which is more of a nuisance problem than a health issue. Weather conditions have a major effect on dust generation and in dry windy conditions, a number of measures might need to be taken to avoid major problems. The most effective measures will prevent dust getting airborne in the first place.
